This extended Clinical Bite session will be two hours in duration and presented in two parts. The sessions are designed to provide an overview of assessing, diagnosing and treating children with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS).
In Part 1, we will review research driven assessment tools and diagnostic criteria used by CAS researchers. Part 2 will cover goal setting for treatment and review current evidence based treatment approaches for CAS.
Sessions will include a case study that will be integrated throughout the learning content. This is an extended presentation of 90 minutes plus 30 minutes of audience Q&A.
You are welcome to access either part, however, it is strongly recommended that participants access both Clinical Bites to gain a holistic understanding of CAS from assessment through to treatment.
