External e-Learning and in person training

Course/Activity Information

Loquitur is an Australian provider of education and training for non-lawyers involved in the legal process, and particularly the provision of evidence to courts, tribunals, commissions, investigations, inquiries, and other legal and quasi-legal settings.

They offer a variety of online and in person courses:

  • Online Lay (Factual) Witness Training - for lay witnesses who will be called to court to give evidence under cross examination.
  • Online Expert Witness Training - a two part training course that covers preparing an expert witness report (taking instructions, drafting, joint reports) and what to expect from the cross examination process. Can be completed separately or combined.
  • In person Expert Witness Training - sessions focus on report writing and cross examination. Can include drafting review of prior reports and practical "mock trial" cross examination sessions on bespoke client materials.
  • In person Subpoena Training - for individuals or representatives of organisations required to deliver testimony in cross examination under subpoena.

Training courses are available throughout Australia and internationally. Courses are taught both in person and online, as well as in-house tailored training for groups.

More information and free videos are available on the Loquitur website.
