Overview
In this learning program, we will look closely at evidence-based practice (EBP), the position of the Association, key components of EBP, how thinking and definitions have changed over time, and how you can embed it within your practice.
EBP as described throughout this document refers to the integration of evidence from the best available external research evidence; the values, preferences and circumstances of service users; professional expertise; and the external practice context (Hoffmann et al., 2017; SPA, 2021).

Who is this for?
This learning program has been designed to suit speech pathologists throughout their careers. It is an integral part of the Return to Practice program and a requirement of early career speech pathologists transitioning from Provisional to full CPSP status.
Members are encouraged to undertake the program at any time throughout their career.
